First of all you have to set the right mood and inform you friends what kind of party it would be, and the best way to do such a thing is to send out Mexican-themed Cinco de Mayo party invitations. When it comes to the decorating the place, there is no much philosophy, use the colors of the Mexican flag; red, white and green. But I have to point out the fact that the Cinco de Maya actually celebrations the long relationship between the United States and Mexico. So it is not important whether you are going traditional or hitting the ribs or beer can chicken, fire up the grill and celebrate this great holiday. When I throw the Cinco de Mayo party on my menu you will most likely find Carne Asade and that is a Mexican recipe for marinated, grilled beef served in tortillas. In order to set the tone of your fiesta, play mariachi music or some other Mexican popular music. And the most important thing is to have a piñata. You can either buy it or make it yourself.
